Ep - 09

Deep thought drowns Jeremy,as he can't decide whom to choose to be cured first. He thinks about Janet, who is in a coma and it is somehow his fault while the condition of Kelly's mom also hits him hard. The thoughts get disturbed when Martha shakes his shoulder and asks him,"Did you choose?" Jeremy nods positively and tells her to cure Janet first and in his mind decides to cure Kelly's mom later. She agrees and tells him to meet her at the hospital in the evening at 6.45p.m. and leads him towards the main door. He exits the house and after walking some steps looks back at the house and at the upper floor Martha waving her hand from a small window to him. He smiles and waves back at her and gets in his car to drive back to his grandpa's home. 

He reaches the home and finds out his grandmother is crying sitting on the sofa. When she sees him runs towards him and hugs him tightly and bursts into tears even more loudly. Jeremy tries to calm him down and his grandfather also helps him to make her silent and finally she stops sobbing. And the two of them enquired him,"How are you? Are you alright." He answers,"I am fine". They all settled on the couch and his grandma brought some food. The whole family finishes up their food and Jeremy gets up and is ready to leave, though his grandparents try to stop him but he tells them it's necessary to visit his friends at the hospital and he exits. Though driving through the woods, his thoughts are reeling throughout the conditions of Kelly's mom and Janet.

His car reaches the parking lot of the hospital and there Dona is standing with Ivan talking secretly when they see him approaching,they stop and a wicked smile is clearly noticeable on their face by him. The two of them inform him with a remark,"You know, we're really tired and need to get fresh." Jeremy tells them to go to the house but Dona declines and tells him that they're going to that nearby motel as the house is really far. He agrees with them and enters the hospital leaving them behind. He meets with Andy in the cabin of Janet's and gives hope by informing that she will be cured soon but he just glares at him and shouts,"Don't make promises that you can't fulfill," and he storms out of the cabin. Jeremy nods towards him with no hope and looks at his watch,it's already 6.44p.m. and he gets outside to look for Martha. 

During the waiting he turns around and Martha is standing behind him in a complete black dress with a mysterious portion in her hand. He asks her about his curiosity of how she gonna do the work. Without answering she tells him to lead the way towards the cabin. He follows her order and leads to Janet's cabin,before opening the gate,she orders him not to peek at the room while she does the work and asks him to turn around. Following her words Jeremy turns around and she drives into the cabin.

 There is some strange sound and flickering of some kind of light coming from the room. Though his heart continuously suggests to look behind but his mind is obedient to follow Martha's advice and doesn't peek,he is only wondering if Janet will be cured or not. After some minutes, Martha taps on his shoulder and informs that the task is complete and now Janet is fine. He thanks her for this generous help,she replies as it's alright but Jeremy notices that Martha seems really weak and tired. He asks her,"Do I drop you,as you seem tired." She answers,"It's not necessary,I can go by myself." After finishing up her sentence she leaves the hospital but before going she reminiscents about their deal and he nods positively. When she leaves, Jeremy runs straight to find Andy and to give him the good news.

Ep - 08

Jeremy wakes up and notices his surroundings are not the same. He is in a hospital gown lying on the hospital bed. On his side Ivan was sitting looking at him. Jeremy asks him what happened? And where the others. With grief Ivan informs him that after their car collided with a tree you were rushed to this hospital. Andy also came to visit him in the cabin. Jeremy wants to know about Janet and Kelly. But before he finishes the question Andy broke down in tears and Ivan helps him to give the answer,"Well Kelly was lucky only got some scratches but Janet was not lucky as she spilled out from the car and her head hit a tree trunk and went into a coma." 

Jeremy jumps up and runs outside to check on her. He went in front of the icu chamber where she is lying in the vantilation. Seeing her like that he feels guilty,on his way back he meets with Kelly and asks her how's she doing? Without saying a word she runs outside near an ambulance which really seems strange to him. Ivan tells him that after hearing the news of the accident Kelly's mom's health is now worse than ever and she is transferred to the same hospital. Filled with more guilt he went straight away to meet her and he found her talking with the doctor. He also joins them and the doctor told them that Kelly's mom's health is drowning fast and time is shortening. 

The doctor left both Kelly and Jeremy alone sitting on the metal chair. He says sorry to her but she tells him that,"It's not your fault, it's my bad luck." Completing her sentence she bursts into tears putting her head on his shoulder. Seeing his friends' conditions Jeremy heart mourns. He decides to help them at any cost, deciding that he gets out of the hospital and reaches for the car. Before starting the engine Ivan stops him and asks about where he is going? He answers,"Well I need to go to his grandparents house to collect some important stuff" and leaves.

To find the answers and a way to cure them he can't think of anyone other than Martha. He stops his car in front of her residence and finds the door is open. He went inside to find her and she was coming from upstairs with a green portion in her hand but the thing that captured his eyes was her dress. She was only wearing lingerie and there were strange marks all over her revealing body. She in an angry tone tells him to turn around and he follows her order,when she remarks to turn around,he turns towards her with a puzzled face. Jeremy can't put his curiosity aside and questions her,"What are you doing?" She answers him,"You know I do magic,and it was the preparation for it."

Martha offers him to sit down and relax a bit, he follows her advice and some minutes later asks her help for the treatment. She agreed but with a condition that she can cure only one person at a time but Jeremy has to pay a price for it. Without thinking a single moment he agreed with the deal and Martha asks him to choose whom he wants to be cured first.

Ep - 07

Jeremy greets them and tells them it's really a big surprise. At this moment, hearing the honking, his grandparents come outside of the house and invite all of them inside. They all went inside and settled down in the living room. Jeremy's grandma went to the kitchen to prepare some food for them and asked him to help. Jeremy took Andy with him into the kitchen on the corridor, he questioned Andy,"Why did you bring them here? as you know this place isn't safe." "I know it dude and the same with them,we are here to help you and the stuff you told seemed quite interesting and adventurous";Andy remarked. He also tells him about Kelly's state of mind when she found out about her mom's cancer.

 

Jeremy agrees with Andy and serves some cookies and hot chocolate. Ivan and Dona decided to go for a walk near the river and left. While Jeremy's grandpa is getting ready to go to the department store for groceries but Janet, Andy's girlfriend tells him that they will bring the groceries,Andy also finds it a great idea so Kelly,Janet,Andy and Jeremy gets into Andy's car and drive for the store, though his grandma ensures them to be back before it's dark. The store is a bit far away near the road where the diversion starts from the highway and they reached there. Kelly and Jeremy went inside the store with the grocery list while seeing the beauty of nature Janet took Andy for a photoshoot. During the shopping Jeremy asks Kelly about her mom's condition and she with tears in her eyes,tells him that her condition isn't improving though she is optimistic about her cure.

Jeremy tells her to be positive and they finish up their shopping. In the cash counter the cashier seeing Jeremy gets a bit surprised and remarks with a creepy smile, "Oh! You are still staying here, you will learn that it's not safe here". Kelly gets a bit confused but before she asks anything Jeremy pays the amount and takes her out of the store. Finishing up the shopping they find out the photo session still continues for Andy and Janet even though they forced the remaining two to join in. After taking some photos finally they start driving, Jeremy is driving the car and they are on time for reaching home before it's dark. On the middle of the road the car starts misbehaving and stops. 

Andy and Jeremy get out of the car and tell the girls to stay inside. Jeremy looks inside the bonnet and the radiator is hot that reminds him the same problem happened with him. Andy tells him to stay with the girls and he will go to get some water but Jeremy stops him and tells him that the river is far away and there is no one in the woods staying. So, he starts to walk towards the store and Andy stays in the car with the girls and will inform him if gets any help. Jeremy reached the store and bought the bottle of coolant and without saying a word the shopkeeper started his long journey towards the car,when he's reached its already dark. After putting on the coolant they start the engine and move once again.

 His grandpa called him to find out why he was late? Jeremy told him and hung up, when they heard that strange howl from the woods. He pushes the gas pedal and picks up speed and suddenly a black shadow moves from side to side in front of them and from the wrong side a truck is coming towards them. Jeremy turns the wheel in the opposite direction and saves them from the collision but unfortunately their car loses control and hits the trees standing in front of them and everything is blacked out.

Ep- 06

The cold air is softly touching Jeremy's skin and he is getting goosebumps and can't understand why. An inner fear of something is not right tonight continuously repeating in his mind. But he ignores that and moves forward to Martha's residence. When he takes the turn and enters on the narrow road between the woods he feels that someone is watching him. But, everytime he turns around to look back there is nothing. So,he thought it must be his anxiety and started his walk again.

Within moments with those thoughts in his mind he reached the cemetery and felt it was a bit strange. The whole cemetery is covered in a kind of fog and the flashlight in his hand starts to flicker and suddenly stops working. Jeremy puts out the batteries to look at them when he is investigating a meek voice coming from his back. He turns around to look and finds a ghostly girl with fangs hovering towards his back. He slowly moved backwards looking straight at her. But he tumbles when something touches his legs. He looks at his legs and drops to the ground.

Being dropped to the ground he looks at his surroundings and the ghostly girl jumps towards him and tries to bite him. But Jeremy at the right time moves to the side and her fangs stick to the ground. She gets up and starts to fly once again with a smile. Jeremy looks around and finds there is a ghostly guy crawling out of the ground and crawls to come close to him. And seeing that Jeremy stands up when something grabs him from behind. He struggles to get released but unable to find a way,his hand reaches in his pocket and finds that salt can. He throws the salt towards his back and a loud cry comes out and makes him released. 

He watches it and sees a winged creature with a human face and it's body is burning in some places. Jeremy calls Martha for help and calls her loudly. Hearing her name, those ghosts seem scared and backs off for a moment. The ghostly girl tells him,she can't save you from us. And the winged creature speaks,I can smell the hot blood of this kid and really want to taste it. But the girl spirit stops it and tells,no he is my prey. 

When Jeremy heard their conversation his blood freezes and a shiver runs down his spine. He seeks for an escape and finds it when those spirits seem busy in a quarrel for who's gonna eat him. He thinks of it as a golden opportunity to save his life and runs towards Martha's house. He is ready to press the doorbell but in that moment the crawler pulls his leg back and he drops on the ground once again. The crawler gets on top of him and is ready to choke him while the ghost girl and the creature surrounds him. 

In that prompt situation Martha comes outside of her house and screams to them and tells them to back off to leave Jeremy alone. She helped him to get up and took him inside the house. He is in total shock and repeats the same question, who are they? Martha tells him to calm down and answers his question as they are the residents of this cemetery and didn't find salvation. With eyes wide open Jeremy asks him, are they haunting down the flok,She nods positively. 

He got up from the couch and she offered him a glass of drink to unwind the situation. Drinking down it he feels a bit relaxed and thanks her for saving his life. She tells him not to mention that and he is ready to leave for his grandparents house. But the fear still occurs in him, when Martha tells him not to worry about and that they won't hurt you anymore. Those lines from her mouth gave Jeremy some hope and he reached home safely. In the morning he got up and went to the front garden of the house when the sound of honking attracted his attention. He looks at the jeep that stopped in front of their home and from it Andy,Janet,Ivan,Dona and Kelly all together say surprise. Seeing them he's shocked more than surprised.

Ep- 05

Jeremy went inside her house and Martha addressed him to take a seat on the couch. As he does,his eyes move around the room and it's a really mysterious ambience. There are carvings on the walls and some spooky objects placed on the shelves. He asked her, "what's this?'' She smiles and tells him that these are stuff for her magic works,which convinces him.

He tells her about the deaths of those flok that makes him tense. She sits next to him and her hand placed on his shoulder tries to relax him. She asks him,``Why is he so tense and in shock?" Jeremy says to her,about those screams he heard and bite marks on the necks of the corpses. Martha wanted to know,what he was thinking,when he remarked about his plan to search the woods at night and find out the truth about it.

The smile fades away from her face and becomes grim,she in a warning tone tells him not to do that because it can be dangerous and life threatening. Though it didn't convince Jeremy and Martha can understand by seeing his face. With no other way,she agreed to help him. She told him to meet her at 7.30 p.m. at the cemetery. He accepted her invitation and left her house. 

He finds out that his grandparents are looking for him around the driveway and on the streets. He greets them, and they Sign with relief,his grandma comes close to him, and asks him, is he alright?They are scared after hearing the news of two new deaths. He assures them that everything is okay. Later the day passed peacefully. Seeing his grandparents' reaction Jeremy decided not to inform them about his plan.

He had his dinner with them and told his grandma,he needs to study some medicinal books so as not to disturb him. They agreed and he locked the door of his room after entering. During his packing up,he put a flashlight, some chocolates,and a jar of salt. Looking at his phone when it goes off. It's his college friend and roommate Andy. He sent him a message about how his vacation was going on. Jeremy told him everything,that was happening with him here. Andy's reaction was just wondering. And he became more excited after hearing Jeremy's plan for tonight. Jeremy wishes him good night and puts down his phone. He looked at the wall clock and it's 7.20. Finally it was time and he left the house by getting through the window.

Episode 4

Jeremy presses the bell and his grandpa opens the door and he goes inside. They are having dinner when his grandma asks him what he was doing all that time during the whole afternoon. He blushes and chicks become red and he replies, oh! I was talking with a new friend of mine. His grandpa tells him, I think it must be a girl,am I right ? Jeremy's face becomes totally red and he nods. 

Both his grandparents smile and wish him all the best. The after night was pleasant for him as he was just thinking about Martha and the time he spent with her. Jeremy was in a deep sleep dreaming of her and meeting again with her. In the meantime a loud cry deep from the woods wakes him up. There were cries of people, he ran towards the back door and was ready to rotate the knob when his grandma pulled him inside. 

She again relates what she told him the other night. But Jeremy tells her, "Those folks are in danger and they need his help as in a medical profession, it's his duty to help the people." She agrees with him but replies, "it's really dangerous out there and helping them can be harmful for himself." 

Jeremy mourn fully agrees with her and goes inside the room. He can't even sleep the remaining hours. In the dawn he gets outside and runs into the woods. Their other neighbors also gathered to find two corpses. To get a closer view he went near the bodies. The neighbors inform the cops and they arrive in a couple of minutes. The corpses have no injuries, only two bite marks on their neck. Cops start to find the whereabouts of them , they even ask Jeremy about them ,if he knows who they are, he tells them that he saw them last night entering into the woods with some booze and a shotgun. 

The cops tell him that, if they need anymore info they will call him. Later he went straight in the front door of Martha's house and was ready to press the bell before Martha opened the door and welcomed him inside. 

 Episode 3

Waking up in the morning, Jeremy gets up to jog in the road as his old habit. He is jogging when a voice calls him. He stops and turns around to see it's Martha. He says ,hi and good morning; She replies the same. And asks, you jog everyday, Jeremy nods. She gestures to join him, he doesn't mind at all.

During their jogging ,Jeremy questions her about what she does, and how long she's staying here. Martha replies that she is a magician and has been living here for so long. Jeremy says okay. At the corner where the road divides into two parts, he tells her, is she aware about the mysteries of the woods. 

Martha seems a bit surprised but tells him to meet with her after 2 hours near the riverside. And leaves towards her home. Jeremy also comes back into the house. His grandma prepared some delicious cookies with chocolate chips, Jeremy's favorites. The three of them were eating their breakfast when Jeremy's mom called him. He picks up and tells his mom about his journey , which his dad also hears and says, enjoy kid. His mom also talked with her father and mother in laws before hung up. 

Jeremy tells his grandfather that he is going to visit the river to enjoy its beauty and leaves. He is near the river ,seeing the water flow and the fishes are playing in the water, this sparks a thought of fishing and the calm atmosphere with the scenic beauty. But those mysteries have not vanished from his mind. Lost in those thoughts when a hand taps on his shoulder. Jeremy just jumps up and his leg slips making him fall into the river.

But a hand just grabbed his arm. It's Martha who saved him from getting wet. Jeremy thanks her and she says alright, as a friend it is my duty. He nods positively. Martha sits on a big stone kinda shape of a bench and gestures to him to join. Jeremy sits beside her and starts to make some words to get some information about the stories, before he utters ; Martha speaks, isn't it real beautiful? He replies with a yes. Then she starts, well why are you taking this much interest about those rumors. Rumors, aren't those true?, told by him. 

She says some of them are true, like those howling sounds; Jeremy is shocked, and says, you also heard the howling ? Martha tells him not to worry, it's just a wolf. He seems convinced. Then says, aren't you afraid to live in the middle of woods besides the cemetery. She just smiles loudly, and replies, not at all, why should I ,when I have my friends with me. Jeremy is amazed with the answer and wants to know who his friends are. Martha says those who are buried in the cemetery ; and starts to laugh by seeing his puzzled face. The two of them then get up and ready to leave , Jeremy looks at his phone and the time is 5.30, they just get lost in their conversation and forget about the time. He leads her in front of the cemetery gate ,Martha offers him a cup of coffee but Jeremy tells her next time and leaves. On his way back to his grandparents house ,he notices two drunk men getting into the woods with some drinks and a gun. He just ignores them and reaches to the doorstep.

Episode 2

Jeremy and his grandparents went inside the house. They all have dinner together and after finishing up his grandpa sits on the sofa in the living room while Jeremy follows him. He is really curious about the stories he heard during his today's journey. He sits beside his grandfather and before he asks him , that old man smiles at him and tells him , "you are still as your old self, very anxious about mysteries. Well you must know one thing that the woods are not like old self , those are even more dangerous at night". Jeremy once again asks him"why". His grandpa replies "because of her...."

Before he finishes his sentence with his better half, Jeremy's grandma enters and stops him to speak further. And tells Jeremy to go inside his room and sleep. It's too late. Jeremy is a little sad but goes into his room. He is really tired from this long journey. He lies on the bed and the visions of his childhood memories in here start to come up in his mind with the visions of Martha. With all this thought he falls asleep. In the middle of night some howling sound wakes Jeremy up.

He takes the flashlight and removes the curtain of the widow in his room, which is in the corner of the house and beside the woods. There is nothing found from the window. So he thinks it was a dream and turns around to get on the bed, once again he hears the howl. Jeremy didn't wait a second and opened the door to start walking into the woods. He enters into the woods with a flashlight in his hand. There are various sounds coming in his ear. When it seems that something moved from his left side to the right at the corner. He is ready to take the turn at the right time his grandma stops him and gets back inside the house. She is really angry and Jeremy was also surprised seeing her angry, he never saw her get angry. 

She didn't say a word until he told her sorry. She just tells him to promise her never went into the woods more importantly at night. Tears also came up in her eyes. He promised her and went inside the room;with a pledge of finding out the secret about the Woods.

Episode 1

7 years later Jeremy went to his grandparents house to meet them. They used to live in a rural place which is surrounded with trees and less populated. Jeremy has finished his medical degree and needs some refreshment before joining in his work. His parents insist on visiting his grandpa and grandma. 

During his journey by road he feels a bit uncomfortable, but didn't look into that. At the road there is a sign which indicates the woods are starting from now. He drives through that narrow road slicing between that dense woods. Birds are singing and the fresh smell of air , mesmerizing him. At that moment his car engine stops. So he gets down and checks to find out the radiator is overheated. He looked around but couldn't find anything or anyone. 

Then the sound of an engine gives him some hope. A bike is coming towards him ,he stops it and there are two people in biker jackets stopped. He asks them about any nearby store and they tell them one is there where he can find some coolant for his car but it's half a mile away. They give him directions with a warning not to move here at night. That surprised him but he ignored it.

Jeremy starts to walk after cursing the network because his phone doesn't have a signal. He reaches the store at twilight already. He buys a can of coolant and goes to the counter for payment. He bought a flashlight too. The owner seems a bit creepy but out of curiosity he asks him about the myth that the bikers told him earlier. The owner tells him there is a shadow moving into the woods hunting for young people. And also there are some strange sounds coming from deep into the woods. Those things scared Jeremy a bit,but he started to walk down the road towards his car. 

When he moves out of the shop the owner pulls down the shatter and closes the entrance. He thinks the people are strange. With the thoughts of the stories and shadows he reaches his car safely and peacefully. He gets in his car to start the engine to move forward when the silence breaks with a strange howl. Jeremy thinks it is some kind of wolf. So he moves forward on the road. At a turn he sees a woman in black dress asking for a lift. He stops the car and the woman comes near the passenger side door and asks him for a lift not far from his destination. She seems pretty and hot , so he lets her get into his car. 

He drove for a half an hour and when she tells him to stop , she reached her place. He strangely watches her and asks her where she lives, she replies near the river beside the cemetery and her mansion. She's not scared of living here alone, she just smiles and is ready to move. Jeremy remembers to ask her name but before he says something ,She answers ,Martha; my name. He says nice to meet you Martha. And She also tells him , see you soon.

Before, Jeremy say anything ,she just vanished into the woods. Remembering her He finally reached his grandparents house. His grandma hugged him tightly and his grandpa was also very happy to see him after such a long time. Her grandma pushes him into the house but Jeremy asks her why. His grandpa replies , we will tell you but let's go inside first.
